Get to Know The Face Behind the Designs

In a world of quick texts and social media, there is something about getting a card in post that feels extra special. It’s a piece of thoughtfulness, a keepsake that says “I took a moment to think about you”.

I’m Eleanor (but everyone calls me Ellie) and I’m the founder of Eleanor Green Design. I started making greeting cards when I was just 15, hand drawing designs on bits of card for friends and family. Eventually those early designs got tucked away in a box and forgotten about… until 2020. During lockdown I rediscovered them, scanned them in and started perfecting them on photoshop, just for fun at first!

Fast forward to today and that little hobby has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. I now sell my cards through my online shop and work with a wonderful community of independent businesses who stock my designs too!

Every card begins its life here in vibrant Brighton, East Sussex. Each illustration is carefully crafted to capture a little piece of the outdoors and of course my true love… dogs & bunnies!
